I hope a lot of reporting will be done about the ongoing crisis we face because of the "no fly list" set up by the Bush administration. These flight diversion fiascos cost a lot of money, and are seemingly useless in terms of adding any security to the US. Had the passenger in question April 18th, for example, been truly dangerous, things would have turned out differently for him.

As reported by the Telegraph of London, an Air France flight carrying Le Monde Diplomatique reporter Hernando Calvo Ospina, who writes about " revolutionary movements in Cuba and Colombia" like the FARC was forced to fly to the French Caribbean island of Martinique rather than over US airspace to its destination in Nicaragua.
